Well the good lady not too pleased with the lobster pots in the garden. The suffering one has to go through for ones art! Will spend today cutting them up ready for use!!!

At long last I think I have now linked the web page to facebook - if I have please don't forget to 'like'. I am currently working on setting the store up and raising the profile, one step at a time. I have been out this week and have been donated some old lobster pots by a kind North East fisherman. Not sure what to do with them - I might use them with the large lobster piece I am working on (the irony being that it is made out an old lobster trawler). Also working on some larger pictures of mackerel - painted on some nice pieces of reclaimed marine ply. The patina of years of boat paint and wear and tear provide an unusual and effective background to the fish.
Hopefully I'll have these finished and framed in the near future and on the site. If anyone has anything specific they are after, commissions are more than welcome please contact me using the contact page. Many thanks - The driftwood artist. |
